eMedia Studio eDance Network
In the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology at UC Irvine, the eMedia Studio is a "Distributed Arts Collaboratory" where artistic inquiry meets technology innovation to explore embodied interaction in dance, theatre, music and visual arts. More eDance Network is developing live interactive video exhibits for community locations where visitors dance with professionals to create dance videos that become a permanent part of the exhibit. Participants interact with dance sequences on the screen, then record themselves dancing along. More
