A telepresence dance, music and video performance staged simultaneously in Arizona and California.
Embodying the concept of "distributed performance", dancers in both locations were linked by a two-way videoconferencing system, accompanied by a musician in California and a live video animation performer in Arizona. The video animation explored body representations, systems of containment and acts of breaking boundaries. Featured in the IDAT '99 International Dance and Technology conference at Arizona State University.
